Instructions

  1. 1. Soak channa dal for 1-2 hours and drain.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Let them splutter.
  3. 3. Add urad dal and chana dal. Sauté until golden brown.
  4. 4. Add chopped green chili and curry leaves. Sauté for a minute.
  5. 5. Add soaked channa dal and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  6. 6. Add grated coconut and mix well.
  7. 7. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, and season with salt.
  8. 8. Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
