Instructions

  1. 1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
  2. 2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. 3. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears.
  4. 4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft.
  5. 5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  6. 6. Add chicken pieces and cook until they are browned.
  7. 7. Add enough water to cover the chicken and bring to a boil.
  8. 8. Reduce heat and simmer until the chicken is cooked through and the gravy thickens.
  9. 9. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves.
  10. 10. Serve hot with rice or roti.
