Instructions

  1. 1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds.
  2. 2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. 3. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears.
  4. 4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft.
  5. 5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  6. 6. Add tamarind paste and water. Bring to a boil.
  7. 7. Add fish pieces and cook until they are done and the gravy thickens.
  8. 8. Garnish with curry leaves.
  9. 9. Serve hot with rice.
