Instructions
- 1. Drain and rinse the soaked rajma.
- 2. In a pressure cooker, add the rajma with enough water and cook for 5-6 whistles or until soft.
- 3. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
- 4. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- 5. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute.
- 6. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
- 7. Add coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Stir well.
- 8. Add the cooked rajma along with some of the cooking liquid. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- 9. Adjust the consistency with water if needed and cook for another 5 minutes.
- 10. Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
