Instructions
- 1. Cook moong dal with enough water until soft.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
- 3. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- 4. Add chopped tomatoes and green chili. Cook until tomatoes are soft.
- 5. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Stir well.
- 6. Add the cooked dal and mix well.
- 7. Let it simmer for 10 minutes, adjusting the consistency with water as needed.
- 8. Garnish with coriander leaves.
- 9. Serve hot with rice or roti.
